So you're interested in having some magic at your next event? Fantastic! We've compiled some information in this section that you might find helpful. Please use this as a guide while you're in the planning stages of your event.

What Age Group is Your Magic For?

First of all, magic isn't just for kids. It really is "ok" for an adult to enjoy magic as well. With that in mind every show is designed to be enjoyed by a broad age range. Think of the movie "Shrek" as an example. Children love the movie but you'll meet many adults who are equally zealous about their passion for the film. Our shows are sophisticated enough for an adult to enjoy, but accessible enough that a child can have fun.

With that said children five and under usually will do better with a clown. Magic requires the ability to recognize when something unusual has occurred. For example: That scarf just vanished! Where did it go? A six year old will instantly understand that this shouldn't have happened. For a younger child though this isn't necessarily an illogical occurrence. After all, Mommy can make things go away whenever she wants! Bottom line: The psychology of the unexpected is a HUGE part of magic. If a child is unable to comprehend it much of the effect is lost.

One last word. It's not uncommon for us to "tailor" our shows to the audience. Each show has to be defined by its target audience. It would be inappropriate to perform a show geared for a child's birthday at a corporate retreat (and visa-versa). Whenever we book a show we try to get a good idea of the audience to make sure we make the right "fit" for your event.

How Long is Your Show?

On average 30-45 minutes... Around the length of an average TV show. The timing is heavily dependent on factors such as audience interaction and the venue. The average adult attention span is 45 minutes. This is why it's rare to see a TV show that lasts more than an hour (with commercials). We take pride in our quality entertainment. 30-45 minutes of engaging entertainment is better than two hours of dull mediocrity. If you need "a little extra" for your event it might be better to pair up the show with some close-up/walk-around magic.

What is Your Fee?

Again, this is completely dependent on the event and what is required. Your best bet is to contact us. Our rates are very competitive with the market, especially when you consider the overall value received.

How Much Space Do You Need?

At minimum our stage / cabaret shows require a 10ft square area clear of obstructions. This would preferably be separated from the general traffic flow (having the buffet behind the show is a little distracting). This is just a general rule of thumb developed over several years of performing shows under various circumstances. The front row of the audience should be at least four feet away. These are minimum requirements. We have material designed to fill an entire stage.

How Long Do You Need to Set Up??

Around 60 - 90 minutes. It depends on the circumstances and the type of show we're performing. This is a side effect to our uncompromising commitment to high quality entertainment. We believe that the entertainment market is flooded with mediocrity. There's everything from low budget reality TV to cheesy marketing gimmicks designed to grab a fast buck. We choose to separate ourselves by offering something unique and special. This is certainly the road less traveled, but worthwhile in the long run. The trade-off is that instantaneous set-up is impossible.

What if I Still Have Questions?
